Tuned Up Health Coaching

Your Health. Your Life. Your Choice.

There is no shortage of health information.

In fact, there may be too much.

Everywhere you look, someone has a different opinion about what you should eat, which supplements you should take, how much you should exercise and what you should stop doing.

One person tells you one thing. Another tells you the complete opposite.

So you keep searching.

More information. More opinions. More things to try.

And yet you still don’t have a clear path forward.

This is where I come in.

I don’t give you another complicated health plan and expect you to change your life overnight.

I walk alongside you.

I listen. I ask questions. I explain what I believe is important and, most importantly, I help you work out what you can realistically change.

Then we take it one step at a time.

This isn't about following another restrictive diet

Changing your health and lifestyle is rarely as simple as being handed a list of foods you can and cannot eat.

Your habits have developed over years.

Some are connected to convenience. Some to family. Some to emotions. Some to comfort. Some simply because you’ve always done things that way.

So rather than trying to remove everything at once, we start by looking at what you are putting into your body and gradually improving the quality.

I call this crowding out.

Instead of immediately taking foods away, we start by giving your body better choices.

For example:

  • Ordinary table salt can be exchanged for a good-quality sea salt or mineral-rich salt.

  • Refined and highly processed carbohydrates can gradually be replaced with more complex carbohydrate choices.

  • Sugary foods can make way for naturally sweet foods such as dates and whole fruit.

  • Industrial seed oils can be replaced with options such as olive oil, coconut oil and butter.

  • Conventionally grown foods can be exchanged for organic options where it makes sense — without assuming everything has to be organic.

As your knowledge improves and you begin to notice how different choices affect you, something interesting can happen.

You start making better choices because you want to, rather than because someone told you that you have to.

We start by understanding you

When we first meet, I want to know more than what you eat.
I want to know you. We’ll talk about your health and lifestyle, of course, and I’ll ask about your goals and what you would like to change.

I’ll also ask about the things that make you who you are.

Your interests.

Your hobbies.

Your relationships.

The things you enjoy doing.

Because you’re not a collection of symptoms, habits and numbers on a questionnaire.

You’re a person.

And if you’ve told me that your dog’s name is Rufus, don’t be surprised if I ask how Rufus is doing when we speak again.

Small things matter.

Being listened to matters.

Every session starts with the same question

“In the past week, what can you tell me that’s new and good?”

It could be something significant.

Or it could be something incredibly simple.

Meeting someone new.

Patching things up with someone you care about.

Seeing the first seedling appear in your garden.

Taking the dog for a walk.

Anything that is genuinely good.

The reason I ask is simple.

Before we start looking at what needs changing, I want you to recognise what is already going well.

And something interesting often happens.

Once people know I’ll ask that question again in two weeks, they start thinking about their answer before we meet.

They begin noticing the good things happening around them.

That matters.

Because changing your lifestyle isn’t only about food.

It’s about changing the way you live.

Your first task: the breakfast experiment

One of the first things we look at is breakfast.

For many people, breakfast has become an automatic habit.

Cereal. Toast. Pancakes. Something sweet. Something quick.

And those habits often started in childhood.

So I may ask you what you ate for breakfast as a child.

Then we look at what you’re eating now.

Sometimes the pattern becomes obvious.

Food isn’t always just food.

It can be connected to comfort, routine, memories and emotion.

Rather than telling you what breakfast you should eat, I give you an experiment.

For seven days, you try a different breakfast each day.

You might explore options such as:

  • Fresh fruit

  • Eggs

  • Oatmeal

  • Fresh vegetables

  • Your usual breakfast cereal

  • Coffee and a muffin

  • Other foods we agree are appropriate for the experiment

Immediately after eating, you record how you feel.

Then, around two hours later, you record it again.

Not just physically.

Emotionally as well.

You’re gathering your own information.

And that information becomes much more valuable than simply being told what you should eat.

You’re gathering your own information.

And that information becomes much more valuable than simply being told what you should eat.

Knowledge gives you choices

Education is a major part of my approach.

If I suggest that you look at carbohydrates differently, I want you to understand why.

We’ll look at the difference between highly refined, low-nutrient carbohydrate choices and more complex carbohydrate foods.

You’ll receive supporting information after the session so you can go back over it in your own time.

The same applies as we progress into areas such as:

  • Hydration

  • Different types of water

  • Mineralisation

  • Nutritionally dense foods

  • Food quality

  • Exercise and movement

  • Supplements

  • Lifestyle habits

  • Time management

  • Other areas that are relevant to your individual circumstances

I don’t expect you to blindly accept everything I say.

Where supplements are discussed, I encourage you to do your own research and understand what you’re choosing.

I’ll also share resources that I believe are useful, including educational material from practitioners whose work I have found valuable.

The objective is to give you understanding, not dependence.

Your life matters as much as your food

There is another part of the programme that I believe is often overlooked.

I use what is called a Primary Foods chart.

It looks like a circle divided into twelve sections, covering areas such as:

  • Joy

  • Relationships

  • Social life

  • Career

  • Education

  • Health

  • Finances

  • Creativity

  • Spirituality

  • Physical activity

  • Home cooking

  • Home environment

You mark each section according to how satisfied you currently feel.

This gives us something very useful.

A picture of your life as you see it now.

The chart is repeated around the sixth week.

You can then compare where you started with where you are now.

The areas that score lower help us identify where attention may be needed.

From there, we can create practical, individual plans to help you make changes.

Because sometimes the thing standing between you and a better lifestyle isn’t another food.

It might be your environment.

Your relationships.

Your work.

Your finances.

Your routines.

Your confidence.

Or simply the amount of pressure you’re putting yourself under.

This is why I take a holistic approach.

We don't throw everything at you at once

You have enough to deal with already.

If you struggle with something we’ve agreed on, you’re not going to be criticised.

We’ll look at what got in the way.

Perhaps the task wasn’t realistic.

Perhaps your time management needs looking at.

Perhaps something unexpected happened.

Then we work out a different way forward.

The objective isn’t perfection.

It’s progress.

And when you begin to notice that better choices make you feel better, the process often starts to become much more natural.

That’s when crowding out really starts to work.

You don’t necessarily need somebody standing over you telling you what to remove.

You begin choosing better because you’ve started to understand the difference.

A three-month programme gives you time to make real changes

I recommend beginning with three months because meaningful lifestyle change needs time.

The programme consists of:

6 private one-to-one sessions 60 minutes per session

One session every two weeks 12 weeks of structured support

This gives us time to:

  • Establish where you are now

  • Identify what matters most to you

  • Set practical goals

  • Introduce manageable changes

  • Review what is working

  • Address what isn’t

  • Build your knowledge

  • Adjust your approach

  • Measure your progress

  • Develop greater confidence in your own choices

You aren’t being handed a plan and left alone with it.

We’re working through it together.

Your three-month programme also includes a bio-resonance scan

As part of the three-month programme, you’ll receive a bio-resonance scan normally valued at £90, included within the programme.

I use the scan as an additional source of information and as a guide to help me better understand your starting point and support the direction of your coaching.

The scan is not a substitute for your participation.

You are still the person doing the work.

My job is to give you information, guidance, practical suggestions and support that can help you make informed choices about the changes you want to make.

This programme requires your participation

I’m going to be straight with you.

I cannot change your lifestyle for you.

I cannot make your meals.

I cannot make you exercise.

I cannot make your choices.

And I certainly can’t promise you a particular result.

What I can do is walk alongside you with the knowledge and experience I’ve built over more than a decade of working in health and wellbeing.

I can listen.

I can challenge you when I believe you need challenging.

I can help you break a large problem into smaller, more manageable steps.

And when something isn’t working, we can look at why and find another way forward.

**The support is there.

The guidance is there.

The choice to act is yours.

What happens after three months?

At the end of the programme, we look at what you’ve achieved and where you are now.

You may feel you’ve reached the point where you have everything you need to continue independently.

That’s great.

Or you may decide you’d like another three months of support.

If you do, we can continue the work and carry out another bio-resonance scan as part of the new programme.

Alternatively, you can continue on a pay-as-you-go basis.

There is no pressure from me to rebook.

If you believe working together is helping you move forward, you can choose to continue.

About your coach

I’ve been working in the health and wellbeing field for more than a decade.

I’m an IIN-trained Health Coach, with my diploma completed in 2015, and I also hold diplomas in Acupressure and Sound Therapy.

My approach has developed through education, experience and working with real people rather than trying to force everyone into the same formula.

I’m interested in the bigger picture.

Food matters.

Mineralisation matters.

Hydration matters.

Movement matters.

Your environment matters.

Your relationships matter.

Your mindset matters.

And sometimes the biggest change starts with something remarkably small

You don't need more noise. You need a clearer path.

If you’re tired of jumping from one piece of health advice to another…

If you’ve accumulated plenty of information but still don’t know what to do with it…

If you’re ready to take responsibility for your health and are prepared to put the work in…

Perhaps it’s time to stop searching for another answer and start putting what you already know into practice.

We’ll start where you are.

We’ll work out what matters most.

And then we’ll take the next step.

One step at a time.
